Hello and welcome to my little tutorial!
I found out many peoples had problem with installing this ultimate modiffication so I decided to tell you how to do it.
You say that you even don't know it?
It is modiffication which is editing original poor sounds of LFS cars to more cool ones!
Check this video for more details!
First step is downloading LFS CARSOUND ReMixer. Got it?
Now open your LFS folder, create new folder called "CSR" in it and open it.
Then unpack just downloaded .rar file to random folder. When you will open it, you will find following files in it:
Drag and drop listed files to .../LFS/CSR/ folder you just created.
Second step is downloading CSR Full sound pack.
Once again you have to unpack .rar file and drag and drop its content to ../LFS/CSR/ folder and rewrite current files when prompted.
Third step is to setup LFS to work with CSR as it is using OutGauge to communicate with external program (mod).
Open your LFS folder and find file "cfg.txt". This file is probably Write protected so you have to remove its protection by right clicking it, then select "Properties". In properties window look for "attributes" where you have to make yourself sure that "Read only" is unchecked.
Click "Apply" and "OK" to close this window
Now open cfg.txt with any text editor you like (e.g. Notepad).
Scroll almost all the way down and find those lines:
You have to update values to following:
Save changes and close cfg.txt
Now you are almost done!
Run the "CSR.exe", click the arrow button, it will expand. Then you have to enable "UserMode" which is easilly done by clicking "i" button at bottom left corner.
If you done all of this, you can run LFS and enjoy new cool sounds!
